To releive pain before you have a chance to see the neuro...
Take 200mg of feverfew morning, noon and supper and before going to bed try a 4mg of regular Chlor-Timetron over the counter anti-histaminic. Take the chlor-t one hour befor you think the CH usually hits. If you must take them during the day, take half. Do not take the decongestant formula, just the regular anti-histaminic ones, they are H1 agonist, this means the Chlorpheniramine will bind with the H1 receptors (Histamine receptors) and will block access to the histamines. this should at least reduce pain level. The feverfew, also available OTC, will in a few days reduce the inflammability of the blood vessel in the intracranial region. This should also help to reduce pain. You should also go with 3 daily 200mg doses of Echinacea also available OTC.
Of course see a Neuro as soon as possible and take the medication he will prescribe.
