The typical doctor whirls into the room, sees you for maybe four and a half minutes, there is no time to sit down face to face for a discussion, and he usually doesn't listen to what you say. At least, that's been the average experience I have had (until I finally found a GOOD one, who listens and cares, but unfortunately isnt a neuro...)
