Has anyone tried "off-lablel" use of new narcolepsy drug called modafinil? To my knowledge, it activates SCN and affects circadian rhythms. Also, everyone knows alcohol is most potent trigger but what is going on pharmacologicly? In other words, what is chemical pathway for alchohol to trigger? I believe if they could solve that they would be a lot closer to new drug treatment. Also, what is relationship between inflamation relieving properties of steroids and NSAIDS to SCN or trigeminal inflamation? Also, marijuana is huge trigger for me and is it because THC is actually in alcohol family (tetrahydrocannibinol ends in "ol" putting it in phenol or alcohol family)???
