Hi. I've had CH's for about 7-8 years. This summer cycle has been the longest since being diagnosed. The usual pharmacological attempts to break the cycle were not helpful until lately(fingers crossed, with 55mgs. of prednisone running through my body, in addition to the usual and unusual assortment of meds.) I have also had longer and more severe episodes than usual. One lasting 4 hours, one 8. I don't know how to account for this. I received a nice bottle of gin for my birthday in mid-July, but could not celebrate, and the seal remains unbroken to this day. This, too is unusual.
