I, too, get fever blisters. Not just during clusters but they seem to accompany any time I am not well. My doctor says that they are stress related and once you have that virus you always have it. Now, clusters episodes are very stressful and I find that any health problems I have crop up during that time including the fever blisters. So not only do I feel awful, I look awful.
