Does this sound familiar. I try to get on the net and can't. error 630 says modem can't find dial tone. I pick up phones and no dial tone. unplug phones etc and plug back in. still no dial tone. However, if someone calls me, the phones come back to life and I get a dial tone. I can then go on the net. when I get off net. I again have a dial tone (one line for both phones and computer). But after a long while, the dial tone is gone again. the phone company says the line into the house is showing as o.k. does anyone have any ideas why i am losing the dial tone on my phone after a while?????? help???????????
