Hi,
My daughter gets fever blisters/cold sore, whatever you want to call them. They are definitely stress related but also a signal that her immune system is depressed and it usually follows that she ends up with a cold of some kind, which in turn always ends up with all of us getting sick. If my husband gets a cold, he usually ends up in a cluster cycle, SO....I guess, YES fever blisters DO affect clusters in our house.
We have found, however, that if we all start taking Echinacea at the first sign of a sore throat we can usually avoid the cold, and so far (knock on wood) also the cluster cycle. In discussions with my friend Michel of Quebec, he has found a similar experience with Echnicacea and his cycle is coming to an end, he feels because he has boosted his immune system to fight the Beast. You never know - he could be onto something here!
Remember, what works for some doesn't work for everyone. It's the nature of the Beast.
