I have been using caffergot suppositories for 25 years. It is the only medicine that works for my headaches. I have tried many of the new drugs available and they do not always work. Oral medications have never worked. I can't imagine being with out this drug. Several years ago the plant in PortoRico that makes the suppositories was destroyed in a hurricane. If it wasn't rebuilt then maybe this is the last of the supply. Also, many new younger neurologists never think of using this on their patients. I guess Imitrex is the big thing. Is there anyway to find out from the company? I can't imagine spending the rest of my life in bed with a headache.
