No, I dont have eyes back there, but I do have the same pain there as behind the eye. You asked if anyone could loose themselves in a book. If I sock the back side of my neck during an attack, I can find a few seconds of releif, I'd rather do that than bang my head, I guess its just a preference thing ... some prefer "eating carpet". You dont head bang, maybe you're lucky and dont have it too bad.
