I'm fairly new at this (and not a doctor), but when my doctor suspected CH's, he said to try breathing oxygen to relieve the pain. He that that if it relieved the pain, I was most likely having cluster headaches. It did, in fact, relieve the pain, confirming (at least in his mind) his diagnosis. By the way, the oxygen is easy to use, but a bit of a pain to schedule delivery of tank to your house. You might consider trying it in Dr.'s office (if available). It only takes about 15-20 minutes to work.
