My husband has been taking both over the last 5 or 6 years. Heed some advice if at all possible, run from the prednisone. My husband is looking at 2 shoulder and a hip replacement from the prednisone. It causes a condition know as Avascular Necrosis. If you have to take it be prepared for the joint pain to come sooner or later and be prepared to discuss it with your doctor.
