Takes all the steam out of self pity and "why me?" when you know that you are in the right place at the right time.....warts and all.
(an aside):I studied the relationship of nitrous oxide and severe pain ,first hand, guinea pig style, a lomg time ago. My revalation was that "I could still feel the pain ...but it was without the ouch"....You'll either understand that or not...I can't make it any clearer.
Those who have stood outside themselves know exactly what you mean Joe. Those who haven't yet ...won't have a clue.
Death only scares or seems an out for those who haven't been to the other side yet...or won't lift the veil.
