This happens to me in my right (cluster-side) eye, to the extent that I become blind in that eye. You know that kaleidoscope stuff you see when you close your eye and press against it as hard as you can stand it? That’s the only thing that I can see, whether my eye is open or closed, so it’s not like not being totally blind and not able to see anything at all. However, in my case, it just seems to be one of those random things. It happens only a few - like, maybe, three - times a year and it’s never happened before, during, or after a cluster or any other kind of headache or head pain. It’s just an occasional, weird happening.
