So sorry you have to join us, but welcome. I came to this board after my HAs were gone for over 5 years, so I know the frustration you're feeling now. I was also sure they were gone. For me, they returned after a surgery and going off of BC pills. I never did convince my GP to put me back on the pills, but once I was finally able to see a neuro, she agreed. Now that I've returned to the pills, the HAs disappeared again and I've been almost 3 weeks without any major attacks, just the minor, manageable shadows.
I, along with many others on this board, have commented about how the HAs were different this time. Shadows for many of us are almost constant. Of course, we don't know why, but several of us have noted the similarities/differences between our last clusters and the current ones.
