because you've found this site early on -- many of us have battled this thing for decades without any support. Bob Kipple who lives in your area will be a good resource. The thing to remember is that it's a long haul. If you look at the survey results on ch.com you'll see that no treatment works for everone, and those that do work for some people don't work uniformly or consistently. I've had my first good results just this year with a three-week course of prednisone, which has greatly diminished but not eliminated the current cluster cycle. So hang in there, and don't be intimidated by a doctor's ignorance. Educate him or her, or find another one who is familiar with this affliction.
