Nancy

I remember discovering oxygen 11 years ago. I
went to a doc in Gainesville, FL. I had
to convince him that I did have c/h. He said he
remembered that in the navy, some guys with
migranes used to sit in a dark room and breath
O2. He prescribed a tank for me and the rest is
history.

For me, the only things that work are O2 and
imitrex injections. What I find is that the O2
works when I catch the h/a very early, which I
usually do when I wake up with one starting.
Once they progress past a point, only the shots
will stop them.

I also remember that when I first started taking
O2, it was over 90% effective for almost all the
headaches. However, now it really only stops the
ones that wake me up at night. It is definitely
my treatment of choice since it is cheap and
pretty much without side effects. Although it
seems to dull me a bit after the h/a is gone.

Good luck, but get your doc to give you a
prescription for imitrex injections just in case.

Rick
