See my post above. I had never used it but I saw the doc today for a nagging sinus or tension headache that I've had for 1-1/2 weeks. He takes a quick look at me and says lets try imitrex. I say is it ok at my age (48) and with my heart thing. No prob. So they shoot me up for the first time. Could feel the rush everyone talks about, particualarly in the back of my neck. A little heavy feeling in my chest & extremities but no real problems. So as of 4 hours ago, yes I can take Imitrex.
PS: I'm a pretty big guy, 6'4" 244 lbs. I don't know if that has anything to do with tolerence for the drug.
