There are a number of mates on the board. Some who smake say it helps, some say it hurts. It is personal. I am new to this also, but there are a lot of long time sufferers who know a whole lot. Not everybody looks in everyday, so give us a few days. In my opinion, the right doctor is key to survival. Sometimes this means going to a whole lot of docs until you've found your right match. It can be discouraging, but, really, is anything quite as discouraging as the pain and all it dibilitation. I went to three docs where I live and finally flew across the country to Johns Hopkins Pain Clinic. Hope this helps, Jamy
