I have to agree with the earlier post, it does not sound like cluster headaches, much less "classic cluster headaches". 11 is not an unusual age for the onset of migraines. And there are treatments that are safe.
I would certainly be very aggressive with finding treatment for him. There are many pediatric neurologists out there who would be able to help.
