I had a stroke when I was a kid (8 yrs old) probably from the AVM bleeding & had been paralyzed on my R side for a month. Recovered OK. Ten years ago, I was trying to make sense of some childhood stuff (family not available). I contacted the doc who treated me & he sent me some records & advised to have angiogram. Went to neuro & had MRA which showed damage fm bleed but nothing! to worry about now. Advised not to have kids because of possibly re-bleed during labor; I already had had twins & another child. He said having gone through that challenge to my circulation, showed the AVM probably won't re-rupture. This year before back surgery, same neuro group/different doc ordered repeat MRA & saw "something" but don't worry about it. Easy for them to say.....I just wish I wouldn't get such debilitating headaches. Thanks for your response!
