Susan, I don't know how on earth you can take 10 tabs of amatryptalene..the lowest is dose is 20mg, and that would mean you would be taking 250mgs a night..150mgs is generally the max, and that is generally for depression, for which a tri-cyclic, is generally for. I'd hate to see someone use dramamine for depression. Of course, it is all used in the case of chronic pain too.How does dramamine help that?? While I know everyone is different, I have tried almost all medications over the past 24 years for my CH, and Amatryptalene is the only one that works, given a period of time and build up. With dramamine being an antihistamine, I really don't see how it can be compared to a trycyclic anti depressant in any way. Of course, I will happily stand corrected if wrong...I suppose I'm more puzzled than anything else. Judinpit
