When I was on the local news last month, I used the oportunity to focus on the web site. I wanted to make all the sufferers in my area aware of it's existance. Fact of life - people that don't have CH, don't care too much about it so don't waste your time trying to educate them. They'll say, wow that must be bad and the next day they'll have forgotten about it. It did my heart a world of good when a post showed up in the guest book a couple of days later. It was from a guy in my area that found CH.com because of the news bit.
I did explain what the HA were like physically. Then I went to the emotional aspects and how alone we feel and what a relief it was to find the site. They took some shots of entries in the guest book where people had posted that they wished their head would just explode and get it over with, that they wanted to die. Pretty strong stuff.
If I ever get the video converted to MPEG, I'll post it and you just may see your own post on the spot. Also covered the existance of OUCH.
No matter how it turns out, good job Joe. We do need all the exposure we can get. Don't worry about what to say. Like any good clusterhead, given the chance to talk about our condition, once we get going there's no stopping us. The words just flow.
Good luck and be sure to tape it. I think I'll spring for the hardware to convert the video to MPEG this payday and if you want I'll do yours too.
