WOW!
I like several of the words you have chosen to type in your post such as, “hereditary weakness”, “susceptible”, “imbalance” and “chain reaction”. And of course, I also like the words, “hypothalamus”, “seasons” and “hormonal/chemical imbalance”.

I have never been called Professor Onion head, but I have been called an idiot. I have not been researching Cluster Headaches for 16 years with me as the guinea pig, but I have been researching Cluster Headaches for 15 years with me as the guinea pig. I have the “chronic” style of Cluster Headaches.

But from what I’ve read on this board I believe that Cluster Headaches are a cascade of several different biological events. I’m not sure what happens first, second, third, fourth or fifth and so on though in this cascade of events. But there is a cascade of events such as: Neurological, Vascular, Muscular, Viral, Hormonal, Skeletal, Chemical, the Hypothalamus, the Trigeminal Nerve, etc. Perhaps there are more events that make up the cascade of a Cluster Headache too. Perhaps there are less events. I don’t know.

I do know, that the pain of a Cluster Headache is more painful than anything that I have ever experienced in my entire life. Your post is extremely interesting and thoughtful though. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas.
