My personal preference - don't ask me anything or do anything for me DURING a headache. Be there for me afterwards, just let me know you care and are trying to understand that I've just been in the worst pain imaginable. Yes, even give me a little pity (I deserve it). Maybe help by taking on a few of my normal chores around the house. Arranging for the meds to be refilled and picked up is a nice touch. I'd appreciate that.
Again, these are my own prefs. You'll hear a lot more from others but the most important one to ask is hubby. Sounds like he's already got a pretty darn good supporter as it is.
