I'm glad you've found this great source of solace and support for cluster sufferers. I'd only found it about a month ago, and now I feel that I finally, after 24 yrs., have a place where people truly understand this debilitating disorder.
As for why they can clone animals and send people to the moon but can't seem to find a cure for us, I think it may have a lot to do with the attitude of that surgeon you mentioned, who thought it was all in your head. What we need is an advocate with some power and/or influence. Maybe if an Oprah Winfrey or a Jerry Seinfeld were to be suddenly stricken, or some physicians could experience the pain first hand, we might have a hope. Hang in there!!
