to all the other great advice posted here, remember that probably no one knows your husband better than you do, so take advantage of that knowledge. The best thing I've learned (and I've only been a supporter for 10 months, but my boyfriend Bryan has had CHs for 11 years) is to be a good listener. And not just to the verbal cues. I don't always get it right, but I'm learning. And also remember, you've got all of us too, in case you need to be supportED instead of the supportEE.
