I have had 46 years as a CH supporter, and lots of those years, we had no medicine to rely on. If you have all his prescriptions filled and ready, you have made a good start. Sometimes its hard to keep the medicine where he can get it but the kids can't. My husband wants a glass of cold water in reach at all times. I give him his solitude when the headaches are at their worst. Often I am on my knees in another room. When the pain is less, a light touch on his hand or back will let him know you are there. Stay calm. This will help everyone, especially the children. Go on with a normal routine as much as possible. When our four children were all small at once, we rebuilt our house to accomodate his clusters without shipping the kids off. Most important, make sure he knows you'd rather have him with clusters, than anyone else in the world without them. Hope our follow-ups help you realize you are not alone. Love and God bless...
