Ken, I've seen two nuerologist in my life with these things(15 years)3 specialists that dealt only with head pain, 1 naturopath, 2 chiropracters, and several primary doctors. I've gone through every med out there that I know of. The oxygen does not help me, nor lithium. I am at the point in my life with these things that I just get through them, and pray in the interim. My Mom has seen me quite a few times in my life, but she has this opinion of me that I am a drama queen, and a hypochondriac. I used to get bad headaches when I was little and stomach aches and ask for aspirin when I was five. She thought I liked the tast of the chewable aspirin so she stoppped letting me have them. When I was in school as a child and teenager I had to skip out of class because I couldn't handle it. Sooner than later I would get caught and catch it from both of my parents who were both in the education field. Sounds like I have a thing about my parents but they actually are great when it comes to other things. They just don't seem to get what is and was right in front of their noses. My son has some of the symptoms I used to as a kid, and I take him seriously when he tells me his stomach hurts or head hurts.
I am looking for another doctor, and waiting to see where I am with insurance also. I haven't given completely up. I do think there has to be that missing puzzle piece somewhere out there that will fix everything.
