I use the maxalt especially when I am out and don't have access to water. I find they work most of the times. But lately on my trip, I used it and they did nothing so had to go ahead and take a Imitrex also. I like the dissolving type too. Easy to take. One big drawback to me was they give me the "runs".
Sometimes they work and other times when the CH is really bad, they didn't.
Not sure if you can build up a resistance to them. I was told not to take it along with Imitrex as they are similiar type medicine.
