Amanda, I'm ecstatic that your cycle has finally ended!! This is the third piece of really good news I've gotten about dear friends in just the past few weeks, and I couldn't be happier for all of you.
Let's toss one out for the cause and effect folks -- you spend a few days hosting a visit from two of your friends here on the board and shortly thereafter, your cycle ends. Here's my interpretation...the Demon, being the typical schoolyard bully that he is, tucks tail and runs when he sees he's outnumbered.
