Stay on the Verapamil, O2 and Imitrex. My GP gave me a 480mg (240mg 2 a day)
They didn't seem to be helping this current cycle, so I went to a Neurologist
yesterday. He started me on Prednisone 80mg/day. Took 60mg when I picked up my
perscription then 20mg before I went to bed. Only woke up with one headache
compared to one every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I took 60mg so far today and haven't had
a headache yet. Usually I'd have a least 2 by now, which I could knock out with
O2.
Guess I'm trying to say hang in there. See you Doctor about Prednisone. We all worry
about how long our cycles last. Wishing you pain free days soon!!!
