Claudette, I'm sorry that this all seems like it's coming down on you at once. Like the others, I wish there was something I could do to make it easier on you. Yes, the changing of the seasons can affect mood/depression. It's called Seasonal Affective Disorder, (SAD). The dark and gloom, combined with fewer hours of sunlight per day, combined with the prospect of a long, dark, cold winter, etc. can effect different people differently. Some people who have a really hard time with it set up full-spectrum lighting, and bathe in the light for extended periods of time daily throughout the dark seasons. They report beneficial results. Sometimes I say that I have SAD, but I'm not sure if I really do or if I'm just sad that I can't go fishing until Spring. I hope that things look up for you soon. Sleep when you can, and dream of warm, sunny days on the beach.
