Im a fit 44 yr old male. Recently I injured my back playing soccer. The doc prescribed 400mg ibuprophin. As soon as I started taking them I developed well...you all know the drill...mind numbing agonizing cluster headaches. Not sure of what I was enduring I went back to my doc with the symptoms. He said it was most likely cluster headaches, and prescibed something for them (can't remember the name). Ialso asked him about the chance of the onset being caused by the ibuprophin, and he said HIGHLY unlikely. I researched and found same opinions everywhere I turned...1 to 3% chance of creating headaches...Well colour me desperate, I stopped taking them anyway...guess what..*poof* gone...go figger.
