I do not have painful headaches, I instead get numbness down my left side. They did a work up on me to see if I was having transient ischemic attacks or was going to have a stroke. Finally, they did an arteriogram and my carotids were clear. My echocardiogram was normal. They diagnosed me with an attypical migraine which causes vascular spasms leading to these symptoms. I am on Neurontin as a mood stabilizer for my bi-polar disorder. Is there any link between the two problems, or is there a side-effect issuse here?
