Now that you have put your toes in the water, it won't be so hard to go a little deeper the next time. We sure hope to hear from you often.

Children fear what they don't understand and it is up to us to help them to overcome this by giving as simple an explaination as their age deserves.
You might even see your young child play-acting a headache as this helps (imagination) them deal with, and overcome these fears. It is a part of the magic years of age birth to 6.

Another big stepping stone in their learinig to grow without fear is anticipatory anxiety. When you feel the headache coming on, let them know that this is a time when you need to be alone or however you deal with your particular level of pain. Don't just abruptly shut them out. Let them know what's going on.

When it's over, big hugs and kisses are in order with thanks for being so nice and loving. Being of an anti-social nature, you must understand that it is necessary to convey, in whatever degree you can bring yourself to do so, that you do appreciate what they do for you. I'm sure that you know what I mean .

This can all work out-the headaches and your family life. It just takes one hell of an effort on you and your wifes' part when you are in CH cycle.

This view is based on a marriage with an anti-social man.
