When I first saw one of your very first post I thought to myself that all you need is a little kind compassion, someone who understands you and what you are going through. Here at the Cluster Headache site you have found family that truly cares and understands. I think that you may have miss read that post in which you are speaking about. I never once felt as though the person was speaking of a person who suffers cronically. It was mainly geared towards people who suffer from migraines and chronic headaches NOT CHRONIC CLUSTER HEADACHES. Carl, I truly do know what you are going through because I have suffered from depression most of my life. It has only been over the past few years that I have put the depression aside and realized that I must live a normal life if not for me then my child and husband. During my last cycle (I have been pain free for 3 weeks now) with CH I truly thought that I would give in and maybe kill myself. At the time I thought of it but it was only a thought. I wish you had supporters near you but all we can offer is a lending ear to hear your problems. Don't shut yourself off from us because you will only be hurting and harming yourself if you choose to do so. WE ARE ALL HERE TO HELP EACH OTHER and we all LOVE EACH OTHER. I have never been able to say this about my own biological family but with the CH family I can truly say that there is love, kindness, compassion, thoughtfullness, sharing, warm, people on this site. I will be prayinng for you Carl.
