Firstly, sorry for my english. I hope you could understand me.
Love from you from Barcelona (Catalonia) in my first post.
I suffer from CH for 10 years ago. I've tried a lot of preventive medicines but with no result. Actually, I'm taking a cocktail of "Manidon" ("verapamilo"), "Depakine" ("valproico" acid) and "Seroxat" ("paroxetina"), also without result.
The only solution when I have an attack is Imitrex ("Imigran" here), but the very serious problem is the price.
Since 3 months ago, on my own initiative, not by prescription, I'm taking also "MATRICARIA" or "TANACETUM PARTENIUM SCHULTZ" (I don't know english name) in capsules. Is a natural medicine extracted from a type of camomile.
I don't know if is a coincidence, but I haven't had any CH attack since I'm taking it. In fact, "matricaria" is a serotonine liberation inhibitor.
Bearing in mind that is a plant, I think is worth while trying it.

ANOTHER THING ABOUT IMITREX:
Do you can buy spares of Imitrex without the self-injector? I think Glaxo commercialize it in some countryes (perhaps South America), at half-price.
I'm sure Glaxo have someone following this board and can explain why they don't market it anywhere.

With kind regards,

PEP
