Jack, I see no reason why a group of underfunded, bright, motivated, diverse, networked, distributed, computer-assisted ClusterHeads can't pull off a world-class research project.
I'm all for it, and want to be a part of such a project. I do, of course, have several concerns, the largest of which is that we end up splintered, unfocused, disorganized and unfruitful. That, waste time, I just as soon not do. Have fun, talk about Peruvian Butterfly Farts and such, of course. That is part of the healing and coping process. Doing something a little more directed would be something that would interest me, as I am sure it would some others.
My mind races with the possibilities here. I spoke to drummer earlier today and expressed my interest in such an endeavor. I don't expect any miracle cures from this, but it is perhaps the next right thing for the CH community to undertake. I just hope the CH community sets out to do the next right thing right.
