I know exactly of what you write. As I CH sufferer for 11 years now I to dread certain times and NOW is one of them!
I haven't had an attack in the past three weeks! Life has been wonderful! No anxiety going to bed wondering if (when) my old nemisis will be back. I dont say this to gloat, only to say there IS relief at times. The closer I get to late October/November the more I rub my right temple.
You see this bastard comes to vist at the Holiday season for me, extended family time, time to relax, the whole deal. DOnt let me forget it can alson screw up any time of the year just to keep me on my toes. I know that it is only a matter of time before I cant see straight and stumble off for relief.
I am going pro-active however. I am going to visit a nuerologist on November 2nd and explain to her that this pattern must stop. I most likely will go through the medications roulette again, but I'll askf or a re-up of my Imitrex and Amadrine and go from there. The anticipation you write of almost ruins everything for a sufferer I think.
I pray for pain free days and nights for all of us. I also prya ofr understanding, true understanding for those around us.
