That much sugar and prednsone sounds like yeastie heaven.
Replace all carbo's with fat and protien for a day or two and see what happens. Eskimos did it for years.
The japanese describe a condition where yeast in the gut can even cause alcohol intoxication. It's in the book "The Yeast Connection". Mine's loaned out right now or I search it out.
Of course that sort of thing couldn't happen in this country with the FDA and AMA looking out for us the way they do.
