are you taking the reduced dose as discussed on the Imitrex Tips page (button on left) and as detailed on occasion by Drummer ?
have you considered backing off on using it so often ?
I know with any of the meds I use (except oxygen)if I stick with one Rx too often/too long, effictiveness (real or perceived, doesn't much matter) begins to decline
for that reason, I tend to switch treatments every couple days(referring to aborting/reducing individual attacks here) and find it helpful
