I started using O2 this year for the first time, tho' I've had clusters for over 20 years. I've had a tank for about a week, and it is working great for almost all, tho' I have had several that NOTHING would stop. Thank god I saw it here!! I'm using verapimil, imitrex, just started prednisone, but right now, I'd trade 'em all if I had to, for the O2!!! I'm serious!! Wish I'd known about it 20 years ago. My Dr. prescribed a 2 liter flow, which does nothing....most here say 8 to 10 !!! But I'm staying around 7 right now. Your mother shouldn't have a problem getting a script for the O2....get a different Dr!! Also, if she has quite a few attacks, get the biggest tank you can, I emptied a portable one in less than 24 hours....prob'ly 4 clusters...? So I got a big tank for home....my saving grace for now! Hang in there, I must admit, these things have been known to wear me down to where I just don't care anymore, so do try to understand. I've given up on Dr.s almost every year, but I always go back the next year... Don't take no for an answer!! GET THE O2 !!
