I've always used cafergot tablets for my CH. When I go to bed I leave a couple laying on the night table and a couple laking on the coffee table in the family room along with a glass of water, my watch and tissues for eye/nose.
The cafergot has the hard, candy coating on them and my kids are in their 20's so no worries there.
In fact, when I'm in a cluster, everything is laid out, ready for fast access when that inevidable, 1-1/2 hour after falling asleep headache hits.
