have your dr. order the vials of imitrex. one vial contains 6mg of imitrex but you can use just half the amount...3mg...to abort the ha. the ony thing is you also have to have a script one needles and draw up the dose yourself and self inject. my husband does this. streches the med and just as effective. your pharmacy may have to order the vials if not in stock but they can and if they say they can't go somewhere else. we tried 3 different pharmacies before we found one that would/could....walmart.
