I don't usually respond over internet sites, but having been a cluster "headache" sufferer for 17 years, I want to help any other sufferer in any way I can.
When I first became afflicted, I described the pain and circumstance almost identically to yours. Any neurologist would immediately be able to diagnose you. These may not be cluster headaches but certainly are "something" and need treatment. See a good neurologist....he/she should be sympathetic and most likely medications are needed.
