Sam, you need to read the medical description of clusters. They're called that because they come in clusters (when people say they're in a cycle they mean they are in the middle of a cluster). Clusters last from 4 to 12 weeks with 2-4 headaches (attacks) a day. Each headache lasts 15 minutes to 2 hours. This is the description for episodic clusters, the most common type (80% of sufferers).
There are also chronic sufferers whose cycles or clusters don't stop. They get headaches every day or every few days.
If you're headaches are lasting days, non stop, them you probably have another form of headache.
Best thing to do is read the med info and find a neurologist to get a diagnosis.
