I too become nauseated sometimes. I blame it on the cafergot and the pain. Like Dave, it only happens if the HA lasts more than an hour (usually takes 2 hours before I head for the head).
Judi - I noticed that after heaving and sometimes evolving to the dry heaves, the HA would end shortly after. I figured it was due to the physical exertion involved. This led to using strenious exercise at the onset of a HA this past cluster and finding that it aborted the HAs in 5-10 minutes. Let me know if you want me to expand on this. Sidebar (I was a pretty heavy kid in high school. Know as 230 lbs. of charging marshmallow on the football team. In algebra one day, we were doing problems on the blackboards. After working on an equation for a while the teacher instructed those at the the boards, "OK, now expand". The guy next to me whispered, "Looks like Pahlow already expanded".)
