The shadow seems to be around mostly all the way through the episode, except when it is a HA. It's not always pain or sensitivity, just a feeling that something is off balance. Sorta like a mild electrical feeling? My current episode is the strangest in over 20 years. It ran the normal 5 week course and then just as predicted was over. I had 2 pain free weeks, even alcohol no problem. Then like a thief in the night it came back. One HA every day, about one hour after sleep. I'm stubborn and couldn't believe IT was really back so in a relatively shadow free time I had a couple of drinks. POW!!! 3 HA that night and a strong shadow plus the nightly for the next two days. I have only been using Imitrex (except for the occasional advil for sore muscles). It's back to one-a-day now. I wonder how long it will linger.

best to all of you

celebrate pain free times, even if they are only moments.
