I have been taking ONLY Verapamil SR (180mg 3x per day) during this cycle, and it has effectively blocked the HAs. It took about 3 days to build up before the attacks stoppped. After going six weeks without an attack, I tapered off the verapamil, but the attacks came back. Now back on the verapamil since Saturday and no attacks since. I'll wait another two weeks and then try tapering off again.
