This quote from Foz needs to be re-iterated. But obvious? Well, yes. But I just took it for granted that this site was here. I never gave it a second thought about how truly lucky we are that DJ exists and started this site. It didn't just appear out of nowhere -- which I never thought, but I also never gave it a thought that it started from somewhere/one. And for those of us who have been lucky to have some sort of correspondance with him understand how he not only is concerned in general with CHs, but each and every individual. He honestly seems to care and empathize with anyone who has these. What I'm about to relate to all of you is not said to drudge up old and bad memories, but to show his concern for each of us as people and not just part of an unfortunate group as a whole. When all that crap was going down with me and many on the board, DJ talked to me about my thoughts of not contributing anymore (a few others did too, and I don't want to not acknowledge you). He showed me compassion that's hard to come by in a person. He took time out of his life of maintaining this board, work, social life, having his own clusters to contend with, and all else that keeps one occupied in life, to talk to me as a person who wanted to help me. Again, such generosity in a person is hard to come by in life.
I don't know where I'm going with this post other than to say: DJ, you are one hell of a person. Thank you for everything you have done and do to make our lives more bearable. You are certainly one of the great people on this planet.
